Hello Seekers! This is Bernardo (Bydo) from the Malediction game design team. I’ve come to bring some great news regarding the Tabletop Simulator Mod for Malediction! We’ve had an update in February, focused mainly on quality of life changes to enhance the game experience, and a new one in March, bringing support to the Nemesis(2×1) and Allegiance(2×2) game modes!

With the great influx of new players in Malediction, one of the places they can interact and play with others is in our Tabletop Simulator Mod. For this reason, we wish to keep improving it as time goes by.  For the last year, we’ve gathered feedback from players and members of the community on things we could change to make the experience of playing Malediction on TTS better. With that in mind, we started working on a few improvements, and now it is time to show you them!

Chat Log: To start, dice roll results are now displayed in the chat to easily show all players and record the results. The echo and mastery trackers also display in the chat the current values, a few seconds after making any changes. Additionally, the left-sides of the echo/mastery trackers (meaning the “tens”) correctly change values when the units go above 9 or below 0. These changes were made with the intent to make the verification and book-keeping process a bit more fluid for both players.

Standees: Second, the standees cannot be drawn or added to a player’s hands anymore. Standees also received a new button next to their health bars that allows changing the maximum health stat. This improvement is to facilitate reading when units increase their max health through attachments.

Seeker Decks: To players who want to try out a new Seeker but don’t want to build a whole deck from scratch, we’ve got you covered. Pre-chosen Seeker decks will be available on TTS for each of the currently available 8 seekers that will offer a quick and simple way to get into the game!

New Game Modes: And for those who enjoy playing with 3 or 4 people, we’ve added support to the Nemesis and Allegiance game modes! When opening the mod, the player may choose which mode they would like to play. There are also changes to the deploy zone selection, where players now need to select all 4 deploy zones, and they each will be marked with a flag with their player’s color.

We hope that these changes will improve the way many of you play. And do not worry, we will also bring more changes in the future, as well as add any new content that we release!

Thank you all for reading, and see you next time!
