When the monstrous titan charges, the earth splits open, mountains crumble, and the world trembles at the sound of his footsteps. Enabling the most aggressive playstyle, he will crush your enemies underfoot before they realize what hit them.

Thunderstep’s Legacy is the Storm’s Eye, which turns the fire burning deep inside the souls of those who follow him into an unstoppable wildfire, entering a frenzy more powerful than any battle-concoctions brewed by the shamans.
Basic Concepts:

  • Thundersteps has a very simple game plan: ABC (always be charging). Every unit is capable of dealing meaningful damage with an all-out offensive.
  • Charging allows you to strike first and dictate the flow of combat, with the tradeoff that your opponent gets to attack you twice. Not under the Tyran’s watch, as Knockback is great not only to force your opponents into Hazardous terrain, but also can keep your units well protected in the offensive.

Legacy tips and interactions:

  • Extra moves (such as one granted by Relentless Surge or units with Dash) offer superb versatility with positioning around the battlefield, be it increasing your charge range, allowing a unit to reposition around obstacles, or even engaging close enemies to attack twice.
  • Don’t neglect your units with Clumsy. Although unable to claim relics, they are cheap, fast, and aggressive, perfect for disrupting your opponent’s backline while your stronger units collect relics and prepare for a Brutal Charge.

Pitfalls:

  • Although Thundersteps can outdamage every being in Selejia in a straight-out duel, to conquer the Malediction, a Seeker must use the full force of their whole warband. Charging alone without a proper backup against the full force of enemy lines is a sure way to go down.
  • A lot of your units depend on good and aggressive positioning to shine. Be it pushing enemies into Hazardous terrain, focus-firing enemies with Swarm, or forcing an opponent to engage first to Rend whoever is standing in your way, consider your ability to reposition and how your opponent can react before advancing with abandon.
