Seeker Overview – Griza, Lingering Wound
by Nicole Lobo
Many hold beliefs about the mysteries of life and death. But when you face Griza, you stand before an unliving contradiction. When multiple spirits are bound by the same cruel fate, they may rise as a Tragedy. When devotion to a higher purpose refuses to fade, it may return as a Revenant. Griza is what happens when both forces collide—and fuse into a singular will.
Wielding Ihreniv, the Helm of Oaths, Griza is driven not by desire but by an unyielding instinct to see their purpose fulfilled. Be it through inspiration or curiosity, they push those who follow them to become unbound by the limits of mortal life and death in the service of something greater.Â

Basic Concepts:Â
- Use your spirits to engage across multiple combats at once. Griza can command them with their Spirit Master ability, and defeating them still grants you an action with Last Wail.
- Healing spells are powerful weapons for this warband, turning restoration into damage against those who stand on your path. Healing Griza can also be used to generate more fuel for future spells thanks to their Soul Sacrifice ability.Â

Legacy tips and interactions:Â
- Using your units as sacrificial resources can be a great way to turn what would normally be a drawback into enabling your gameplan. Units that have additional effects that trigger when they are defeated or that have 2AP abilities are even more advantageous.
- Uniting the restless purpose of the Legion of the Fallen with the devout conviction of the Order of the Shattered Throne, Griza’s warband focuses on refusing to stay down, defeating their enemies by outlasting them, and winning wars of attrition.

Pitfalls:Â
- Although powerful, using your forces as resources still grants mastery to your opponents on defeat, and runs the risk of thinning your ranks too much, harming your ability to impact the battle.
- Healing your units requires them to suffer damage first, and most of your healing spells and abilities can only be used during your activation. Your units might not survive an initial assault, or not be positioned correctly to maximize their effectiveness.
