When she asked for a parley, they laughed. When she spoke of peace and surrender, they jeered. After, with their crimson upon her blade, they came to understand. She had never wished for their deaths, but with sadness and grim determination, she took their lives anyway. Many times over, she has tried to show mercy, and each time she failed, for her path has been set, and her faith is absolute.
Vorendal, the Dreadheart
Rumors abound in the Court of the Dead about Lord Stevas Vorendal, the Dreadheart. He has been “alive” since the Age of Strife, serving the Legion in one way or another. Some say he’s the embodiment of the Legion’s goals, one who has defeated death; others see in him a threat, one of the Fallen, daring to command the living. All this speculation is answered by Vorendal with a sinister grin.

Once one of the greatest Nexi to have ever lived, Polinore has been ousted from the higher circles of the Conclave, but his ascent to power is not yet over.
