Seeker Overview: Countess Morrida Umberland
by Nicole Lobo
Although Morrida was destined for a servile life, she had other plans.
Now, the first master of soul-stitching, a power thought to be long lost, the Blue Witch lives a secluded life among her beloved corpses, serving no one but her own ambitions.
Morrida’s Legacy, the Soul-Stitcher, was much like her: misunderstood, complex, and unfathomably powerful. In her hands, it weaved Liastrum and the Anushamatra together in a new, beautiful technique, binding long-dead spirits and empty corpses into one.

Basic Concepts:
- Use Soul Tethering to stitch together your basic fallen to adapt to each situation, turning them into damage boots, extra mobility, or protection.
- The combined value of Necromancy and Call the Fallen keeps your ranks endless, guaranteeing you’ll be the one laughing at the end through sheer number of activations.

Legacy tips and interactions:
- Moving Morrida around the battlefield is even more valuable than the average, as it is an effective repositioning for the next reanimated fallen as well.
- Having access to both the Legion and the Conclave offers you the best tricks to shut down your enemies while protecting your more important pieces (even if it is at the expense of some more disposable chaff).

Pitfalls:
- The basic fallen units that compose the bulk of your warband, although recursive and overwhelming when in large numbers, are frail by themselves. It’s easy to contest your opponent’s board, but without proper support, they’ll fall to any meaningful pressure.
- More long-term oriented than most seekers, Morrida usually depends on shutting down early aggressions to win through her horde in the late game. Being caught off guard in the first rounds can put you at a disadvantage that is hard to climb back up from.
