These boots are made for walkin’… and that’s just what they’ll do.

Goooooood afternoon, Seekers!

Jason here, your friendly neighborhood Community Manager. Now that Gen Con 2025 has come and gone, my poor feet have finally gotten their much-needed rest, and my brain is back to fully functioning. I wanted to take a moment to write a brief recap of the event!

First and foremost, we appreciate everyone’s support and cannot thank you enough for stopping by our booth this year to support Malediction! The turnout was incredible, and many pictures were taken with your good pal Thundersteps.

New alliances were forged, battles were fought, and many boxes were purchased. Without our community, we wouldn’t be here today doing what we love, so again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

Special shoutout to possibly our youngest and most die-hard fan, Caleb! Your enthusiasm and energy lit up the place.

This year, we also unveiled some new treats for our fans:

  • We brought our very first alternate art card, the mighty Everlasting Heart relic. Attendees could pick up this card with any purchase during the convention. Be sure to keep an eye out for future events as well, because Gen Con won’t be the only place to get it!

  • Demo decks were available for those interested in trying the game. These packs came with 1 Seeker and 4 units from one of the four factions, along with various spells, attachments, and relic cards for new players to keep after their time at the demo table, our way of saying thank you for stopping by.

  • On our demo table, some of you may have spotted a sneak peek of our upcoming liquid core d20. It was mesmerizing to gaze into, and once it becomes available, you won’t want to miss adding it to your collection.

All in all, the team and I had an amazing time! An additional thank-you goes out to our helpers, whose support made this convention possible. Without them, we wouldn’t run like the well-oiled machine you saw in action.

Until next time, see you at the next Con!

Jason and the Malediction Team
